A young Brazilian hiker who fell hundreds of feet from the ridge of a towering Indonesian volcano and was trapped there for almost four days was found dead on Tuesday, Brazil's government said. For days, millions of people in Brazil had watched, posted and prayed as rescuers tried to locate her.

Officials said rescuers found Juliana Marins dead and would evacuate her body on Wednesday morning because of bad weather.

Juliana Marins, a Brazilian tourist in her 20s, fell off a cliff down an active volcano in Indonesia on June 21 and was discovered dead days later, according to her family and officials.
