MGK has flexed his acting chops on the silver screen in a plethora of roles, but he turned down a chance to star in the Ryan Coogler-directed blockbuster Sinners over the audition's requirement of using the "n-word."

Interestingly, it now seems that rapper MGK (formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly) was granted the opportunity to audition for the film, though he apparently passed it up for one key reason. MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker,

MGK revealed he was considering the audition for the role of Bert, who was ultimately played by Peter Dreimanis
