Marc Marquez secured victory after managing to best Alex Marquez after battling back up the field following a poor start which initially dropped the factory Ducati rider out of the top three.

Gold went the way of Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) despite a dramatic opening half a lap, but it was intense – and tense – behind as the Championship leader claimed his seventh Sprint victory of the season at Aragon.

Ducati's world championship leader Marc Marquez recovered from a poor start to win Saturday's sprint at the Aragon Grand Prix ahead of his brother Alex and Fermin Aldeguer of Gresini Racing for an all-Spanish podium on home soil.
