Tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets across Southern California on Saturday to voice their concerns over ongoing immigration raids and oppose the policies of President Trump, who they depicted as an aspiring monarch.
Opponents of President Donald Trump's administration on Saturday rallied in nearly 2,000 locations across the country, with thousands demonstrating in Northern California.
The California National Guard arrived in downtown Los Angeles early Sunday morning, stopping in front of the Hall of Justice next to city hall.
Arrest made in Los Angeles after a man allegedly attacked CHP officers and set a patrol car on fire during a protest.
With the downtown facing an 8 p.m. curfew, the Los Angeles police began using tear gas and crowd-control munitions to break up protests after issuing a dispersal order.
