Teamsters Local 701 is suing Airgas for allegedly using hazardous chemical agents on peaceful picketers in New Jersey and Peoria.

"Operating Engineers Local 701 and their employer, General Construction, is not an issue for the ILWU in this dispute," said Leal Sundet, ILWU coast committeeman.

The suit alleges the gases were released in an area where striking workers were picketing outside an Airgas facility in Oakland.
