More than 100 people gathered alongside Egan Drive in downtown Juneau to protest the Trump Administration’s cuts to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policy and what they see as an attack on civil rights.

More than 200 rallied in Fort Myers to honor John Lewis and protest what they see as threats to civil and human rights.

Over 200 people gathered at downtown Modesto’s Five Points intersection for a “Good Trouble Lives On” protest Thursday evening, in honor of the late congressmember and civil rights’ leader John Lewis on the anniversary of his death.

Protests are planned across the nation on Thursday, the anniversary of civil rights icon and Congressman John Lewis’ death. Lewis famously coined the term “good trouble” to describe nonviolent civil disobedience that challenges unjust systems.

These reductions will create real challenges for all health systems, including ours,” said Mary Mannix, President and CEO of Augusta Health.
