The 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race was founded in 1952 and, in 1953, was the first race in the first year the FIA held a World Sportscar Championship. It was an incredible scene.

The restoration was completed in February, just in time for Escalante to reunite the Gullwing with the 12 Hours of Sebring. He exhibited it at Sebring’s Hall of Legends.
