The iPhone SE 4 may not have been canceled after all, with the compact model expected to sport both an OLED display and use Apple's in-house baseband chip.

Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted Monday that Apple is jumping back in the saddle with the iPhone SE 4 after initially canceling plans to offer a new phone in its line of lower-end devices.
This would still be a significant step forward from the antiquated iPhone 8 chassis, of course, but would mean the inclusion of a notch: no Dynamic Island for SE buyers, unfortunately.
Mind you, the iPhone 14 had a Lightning connector, but it’s certain the next SE will have a USB-C port (not least because USB-C is needed for the phone to be sold in the EU now).
