The Apple iMac 24-inch model is new for 2021, and is first Apple desktop to use the Apple M1 processor, another step in Apple's transition away from Intel silicon to chips of its own design.

The 21.5-inch iMac gained a new 4,096x2,304 screen -- proper 4K and not the UHD many of us are familiar with-- while the 27-inch iMac went one step further, packing a 5,120x2,880 5K screen.

If you want the 4K iMac in particular, that starts at $1,499. Each comes standard with the keyboard and mouse, though you can swap in the trackpad for an extra $50, or choose to have both in the box.
