Lewis Hamilton reportedly exploded with rage in his Ferrari cockpit before he was left in tears at the end of the Spanish Grand Prix. He limped home in sixth place, having been unable to extract enough pace from the machinery beneath him. In contrast, his team-mate Charles Leclerc came third and got to join in with the podium celebrations.

The Spanish Grand Prix was meant to be a chance for Ferrari to build on their promising performance in Monaco.
