Victory in the Group D opener ended a four-game losing streak and came after days of controversy over Christian Pulisic’s desire to rest during the tournament.

Players cannot pick and choose which games they will be available for, United States coach Mauricio Pochettino said after forward Christian Pulisic skipped the Concacaf Gold Cup but offered to play in a pair of friendlies.

As FOX Sports’ Summer of Soccer heats up with the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup beginning on Saturday, June 14, the network today unveils its broadcaster match assignments for the Group Stage portion of the highly anticipated tournament.

Fans may notice that the tournament falls on an odd-number years, which is rare for major international competitions which often fall on even-numbered years within a four-year World Cup cycle.

CONCACAF’s marquee competition and FIFA’s expanded version of the club tournament will run concurrently in the United States this summer.
