Ole Miss football player Corey Adams has died in Cordova, Tennessee, according to an announcement from the program on July 20. Adams, 18, was identified as a homicide victim by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee in a post on X.

According to Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Corey Adams, 18, was killed around 10:14 p.m. Saturday night at a residence on Fern Glade Cove in Cordova.

CORDOVA, Tenn. - An 18-year-old has died and four others were injured in a shooting in Cordova, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) said.
