The dollar slipped against all major currencies on Monday, as exuberance over an upbeat U.S. employment report gave way to caution ahead of pivotal U.S.-China trade talks set to take place in London later in the day.

LONDON (Reuters) -Top U.S. and Chinese officials will sit down in London on Monday for talks aimed at defusing the high-stakes trade dispute between the two superpowers that has widened in recent weeks beyond tit-for-tat tariffs to export controls over goods and components critical to global supply chains.

Asian stock markets have advanced ahead of the second round of trade talks between Washington and Beijing, following a solid report on the U.S. job market.
