Radio host Charlamagne tha God responded on his show Monday to recent comments from President Trump calling him a “racist sleazebag,” mostly shrugging off the insults and saying he wants the president to succeed.

Speaking with Lara Trump, Charlamagne alleged that the “MAGA base” is losing its hold over the Republican Party due to the Trump administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. He also predicted that “traditional conservatives are going to take the Republican Party back.”
