A suspect was placed in custody after leading police on a chase and hitting an officer squad car in Midtown on Saturday afternoon, the Memphis Police Department said.

A suspect is dead and two Dallas police officers were injured after a brief car chase that began with a carjacking.

Early Friday morning, two officers were injured and one suspect died in a collision during a carjacking investigation, police said.
