The New York Giants have placed wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton on injured reserve. He suffered a torn Achilles tendon during practice on Sunday.

Wheaton, who was a key special teams piece for the Giants last season, tore his Achilles on Sunday and will miss the entire 2025 season.

The Giants signed linebacker Chris Board during the offseason to fill a similar special teams role. And undrafted rookie receiver Dalen Cambre — a long shot to make the roster when camp opened — is in the NFL right now because of his special-teams excellence in college.
