Alaska Airlines plans to expand service to a dozen global destinations over the next several years, starting with this European capital.

Alaska Airlines has announced that it will begin flying from Seattle, Washington, the United States, to Rome, Italy, with flights taking off in May 2026. Bookings will open in fall 2025, according to the airline.

In a bid to broaden its network, Alaska Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alaska Air Group (ALK), will start a new nonstop service between Seattle and Rome. The service will commence in May 2026.
