A different vibe chased the Cincinnati Bengals into training camp this offseason before the calendar even turned to August. After taking the brunt of the criticism for last year’s playoff miss and with coordinator Al Golden coming in as the possible solution, the Bengals defense has been the driver of urgency so far.

"One of the best days of our offseason was when Joe came in and spent 3 or 4 hours with us," Bengals defensive coordinator Al Golden said.
