A new tiny home project broke ground in Van Nuys in Los Angeles City Council District 2 on Thursday, adding 100 shelter beds in an area where officials said existing sites are near capacity.
Officials broke ground on a new tiny home village in Van Nuys. The homes will be located behind the Van Nuys train station, according to KNX News’ Emily Valdez.
The city will now use safety data, equity measures and existing infrastructure to decide where to place crossing guards.
