A Pennsylvania state trooper previously accused of intimidating a witness in a child abuse case now has been charged with assaulting a baby, prosecutors announced Tuesday.

A baby was hospitalized after being kicked in the head by a cow in Paradise Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday evening, June 24.

A former Oak Ridge police officer has been indicted on more than 20 counts of official misconduct following an investigation into complaints within the police department.
