YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Days after Youngstown City Council members agreed to settle a wrongful death lawsuit against the police department, detectives are defending their work on the case.

In 2024, 15 police officers made more than $50,000 in overtime. Police overtime in 2024 was $3.25 million, up from $2.94 million in 2023.
