EVSC's 2023-24 calendar — the current school year's calendar — was presented to the school board as an "information item" on Nov. 21, 2022. It was approved on Dec. 12, 2022.

During the 2023-2024 school year, first-semester exams were held Wednesday, Dec. 20, through Friday, Dec. 22. Second-semester exams will be held Wednesday, May 22, through Friday, May 24.

Update: The Albuquerque Public Schools board unanimously approves the district's 2024-2025 academic calendar on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Students in grades 1-12 will start school on Aug. 7, 2024.
