The Brief Crews are battling the White Sage Fire in northern Arizona. The fire has burned nearly 59,000 acres with 95% containment. Evacuation orders for Jacob Lake and Lonesome have been lifted.
Firefighters made significant progress Monday on the Lake Spokane Fire, which has burned 2,338 acres since it started over the weekend. The fire is now 16% contained, officials said Tuesday.
NORTHPORT, Wash. — All evacuations have been lifted for the Hope Fire in Stevens County, burning about 10 miles south of Northport.
UPDATE: July 27, 2025, 11 a.m. The Lake Spokane Fire is now more than 50% contained as crews continue mop-up operations and make repairs along the containment line of the 2,550-acre fire.
Evacuations are underway as crews tackle a large fire west of Red Lake. The Deer Fire near Deer Lake shifts to patrol status. More updates to come.
