The federal government has donated at least $6 million worth of leftover border wall materials to Texas, which will use them for the state’s plan to build its own wall.

David Huebner, 38, a 2005 North Platte High School graduate and former U.S. Border Patrol agent, will challenge 10-term U.S. Rep. Adrian Smith in the 2026 3rd District Republican primary.
