From the prosthetic tail to movie props, to her favorite toy, Winter may no longer be with us, but her spirit continues to live on at this new exhibit, Tales of Winter the Dolphin.

Now, Winter has her very own exhibit. “Tales of Winter the Dolphin” opened last week at CMA as a tribute to Winter’s legacy, four years after her death in 2021.

After getting entangled in a crab trap line, Winter became part of the CMA family and lost her tail in 2005. Since then, the beloved dolphin has been an essential part of the Tampa Bay community.

Isabel Powell, 11, will get to meet Winter the dolphin, star of the new movie "Dolphin Tale," which hits theaters Friday.

A deaf baby dolphin that washed ashore during Hurricane Michael in 2018 was rescued by IMMS and transferred to a facility in FL, where she lives alongside a "Dolphin Tale" star.
