HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is escalating his war on institutions he says are influenced by pharmaceutical companies.

The White House warned approximately 8.2 to 9.2 million people could lose health insurance if President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful bill" doesn't pass.

Medicare "Part E" would be self-sustaining, funded by premiums, and available through all state and federal health exchanges.

Insurance companies also negotiate lower prices for their fully insured products, in which they bear the financial risk for claims, than for the self-funded plans they administer as TPAs.

If the House's version of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act budget legislation becomes law, many owner-operators with ACA exchange-purchased plans will pay more for health insurance next year.
