Texas Parks and Wildlife Department white-tailed deer program leader Blaise Korzekwa recently unveiled his 2025-26 deer hunting forecast. Things are looking good all around the state.

The Natural Resources Board approved rules for the 2025-26 Wisconsin deer hunting seasons. The regulations include revamped deer management units and a slight increase in antlerless deer permits.

A deer was illegally shot and killed with a crossbow in New Braunfels, outside of the November-January hunting season, leading TPWD to investigate.
