The National Weather Service put an extreme heat warning in effect from Saturday morning through Sunday evening for areas in the Grand Canyon below 4,000 feet.

Two men are in extremely critical condition after they were hit by a car on June 11 near 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road. Police say the driver stayed at the scene.
