TAMPA, Fla. — The 4th of July, or Independence Day, is commemorating the Declaration of Independence from Great Britain in 1776 and establishing the United States of America.

On Friday, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor, and County Commissioner Ken Hagan both said they’re open to restarting negotiations with the team again.
