The Hades 2 player character is Melinoe (Mel-in-OH-ee). She's the daughter of Hades and Persephone, younger sister of Zagreus, and Princess of the Underworld.

Hades 2 is a direct sequel to the original “set in and around the Underworld of Greek myth.” You play as Melinoë, the Princess of the Underworld and sister of Hades protagonist Zagreus.

Hades 2 is a sequel, set after the events of the first game, both in and beyond the Underworld of Greek myth. The villain of the piece is Chronos, the Titan of Time, and Hades’ father.

Hyoga, Shiryu, Dohko and Kanon have also made it to the Underworld, but are in different parts of it. Seiya and Shun reach the First Prison, the Palace of Justice.

Hades II dredges up the same stuff while twisting it into something else, a beacon of what once was but can never be again. In Hades, Zagreus is intent on breaking out of the underworld.
