Uber’s new Carshare option, part of its sustainability effort, provides a platform for car owners to list their vehicles to local borrowers at hourly and daily rates.

The platform is widely used by car-sharing companies, including Turo, Recurrent, and now Uber, to Track a vehicle's location, verify mileage, charge an EV, share a virtual key, and more.
