Updated: Jun 5, 2025 / 10:38 AM PDT BATTLE GROUND, Wash. (KOIN) — Two people were killed and a third critically wounded in a new home in Battle Ground, police confirmed late Tuesday afternoon.

Battle Ground police were called about 10 a.m. to a home in the 2100 block of Northeast Second Avenue for a report of a medical emergency, according to the statement.

Battle Ground authorities on Wednesday identified a 40-year-old man as the suspect in a Tuesday morning double homicide. The man remained Wednesday evening at a local hospital, police said.
