An international chain has finally opened for business in Central Texas, and some people were so excited they waited for almost 10 hours to be the first in line at the grand opening this past weekend.

Canada-based Tim Hortons coffee, doughnut and sandwich shop is planning to open this summer at 737 N. DuPont Blvd. The site was vacated in 2023 by Speedway Café which opened in December 2014.
