Special Olympics of the Rio Grande Valley kicked off the bowling part of the competition at Creasey’s Bowl. Tuesday marked the second day of the bowling competition for athletes 16 and older.

There seemed to be just one prerequisite for the athletes competing in the Juneau Special Olympics bowling local games at the Pinz Bowling Alley on Willoughby Avenue last weekend — smiles.
