The Behemoth, best known for BattleBlock Theater and Castle Crashers, is working on a new game. Formerly dubbed Game 4 (it's their fourth game), the project has been officially unveiled as Pit People.

The Behemoth has taken to Twitter to announce that they are ready to announce their next game tomorrow, Thursday January 30th. The reveal is set to go live tomorrow as 5:00 PM PT / 2: PM ET.

The Behemoth has teased that it has a new project in development. The BattleBlock Theater developer has been working on its fourth game for over a year, according to studio co-founder Dan Paladin.

The Behemoth tells us there’s also a single-player component to Game 3, complete with a storyline, but that wasn’t on display. We should have more as we get closer to the release in 2010.
