NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — In a letter released Wednesday, July 9, the New Orleans Office of Inspector General reports that two city recreational entities failed to comply with audit law.

At the request of the Orleans Parish Sheriff, the city of New Orleans is being asked to provide $1 million to fund an emergency contract for critical infrastructure repairs at the jail.
