A Pennsylvania state trooper previously accused of intimidating a witness in a child abuse case now has been charged with assaulting a baby, prosecutors announced Tuesday.
A 14-year-old girl, whose name was not released, died as a result of the shooting, troopers said. No arrests have been made at this time and state police say there is no threat to the public.
