British electric vehicle technology brand Donut Lab has a new EV motor deliciously named the “Donut Motor,” and it packs 856 horsepower. Even better, it weighs just 88 pounds.

As Rivian starts accepting orders for its 2026 Quad Motor pickup truck and SUV, customers may initially be enticed by the power and tricks the four motors in these rebooted EVs can unleash.

“With this hub motor, Sonceboz, MMT, and eBikeLabs aim to set a new benchmark for premium urban bikes,” said Damien Wittwer, Division Director at Sonceboz.
