July 23, will mark the 42nd anniversary of the anti-Tamil rioting in Colombo and throughout the country that led to the deaths of hundreds and the displacement of tens of thousands of Tamil citizens.

The incident happened at the intersection of Windingwood Avenue and Providence Road in Brandon.

Gail Price, 78, Jabari Solomon, 10, and Charlie Solomon Riveria, 4, died as a result of that Saturday crash.
