PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A project more than 20 years in the making will be coming to fruition as the Portland City Council voted to transfer land for a new skate park under the Steel Bridge.
The future park is set to fill 35,000 square feet at the base of the Steel Bridge, replacing sloped, grassy terrain with rails, half pipes, spectator seating and fiber-glass roof panels.
