With a slew of rehashed SG-1 storylines, boring filler episodes, and poor character arcs it's a wonder Stargate Atlantis got picked up for a fifth season at all.

This week sees the release of Stargate SG-1 - Season 9 on DVD, a very noteworthy season for the series.
