Tulsa leaders for decades have been offering proposals to put water in the river to provide a recreation outlet for Tulsans and surrounding communities. It's now a reality.

The Tulsa area saw 1.5-2.5 inches of rain Thursday-Friday, and more overnight storms in the weekend forecast are likely to bring the rainfall total to 4-6 inches in some areas.
