She was a member of St Luke the Evangelist/ Good Samaritan Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Stumpf and one brother Archie Clawson.

The church also hosts an old Byzantine icon, reportedly painted by St. Luke the Evangelist, that was shipped to Rome to protect it from iconoclasts in Constantinople.
