LANSING -- It is unlikely a deacon fired from St. Ann's Church in July will return to his former duties at the church, Archdiocese of Chicago officials said Thursday.

Nagle played a key role in in helping establish the Walnut Grove Historic Village in 1985. Today, the 19th century village boasts 18 historic buildings that include Olde St. Ann’s Church.

Relatives and friends may call at St. Ann's Church Friday June 27th, after 11:00am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
