WILTON — A new restaurant, The Square-Downtown Wilton, is now open near the monument at 280 Main Street in Wilton. The property is owned by James Butler and Ashley Rand.

The Wilton select board voted to reduce the cost of inspection fees for retail/medical marijuana stores from $1333 to $100, and are planning to re-examine the fees and the ordinance at a later date.
