LANCASTER, Pa. — Leaders at Penn Medicine Park in Lancaster canceled the last day of a carnival outside the stadium after a shooting next to the carnival the night before.

Luckily, Lancaster County has several places to see these spring ephemeral wildflowers en masse. Peak bloom usually happens around Easter and the earliest arrivals already are starting to bloom.
