Vandals cut fiber-optic lines, causing outage for Spectrum Internet subscribers
Subscribers in Southern California of Spectrum’s Internet service experienced outages over the weekend following what company officials said was an attempted theft of copper lines located in Van Nuys, a suburb located 20 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
What to know about the Spectrum outage in Ventura, LA areas
Extra crews were brought in, and Spectrum said service had been restored to the Ventura area by 9 a.m. Some local residents, however, reported service interruptions throughout the day. Most customers in the Los Angeles area also had service restored by Sunday night, officials said.
