SodaStream units start around $80. SodaStream’s Beer Bar will launch throughout other markets later this year, into to 2017. A U.S. release date has not been set.

So far, SodaStream has just one beer for sale — the Blondie. It’s described as a light beer with “a smooth authentic taste, and a hop filled aroma.” The Blondie has 4.5% alcohol by volume.

Liter bottles of the Blondie concentrate are currently selling on the SodaStream Germany site for €2.99, or approximately $3.34; one bottle makes three liters of beer.

It is currently available in SodaStream Germany's online store and at retailers in Switzerland. Other markets are projected to roll out the Beer Bar in late 2016 and 2017, the company noted.
