The Lake Fire broke out at the north end of Silverwood Lake, just outside of Hesperia, on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Silverwood Lake is back open following a nearly monthlong closure due to the ignition of the Lake Fire on June 28 along the Silverwood's northern shore.
