Shohei Ohtani was held homerless for the first time in a week in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 5-2 victory over the Boston Red Sox.

Freddie Freeman hit a game-ending two-run single with two outs in the ninth inning, Shohei Ohtani hit a home run in his fifth consecutive game and the Los Angeles Dodgers pulled out a 4-3 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday.

Dodgers starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto silenced Cincinnati's bats for much of the game, allowing a lone run on four hits, and Shohei Ohtani provided the eventual game-winning, two-run double as Los Angeles won, 5-2, at Great American Ball Park on Monday, July 28.
